Kevin B. O’Brien

CEO and co-founder of OBRIEN, a provider of electronic business solutions, Kevin O’Brien has been innovating and exceeding the needs of more than 500 clients for 38 years. With a laser focus on helping CEOs and senior executives gain efficiencies and reduce costs by improving information flow, throughout an organization internally and ultimately to its customers, Kevin has increased ROI for industry leaders in the insurance, healthcare, education, printing, publishing, and manufacturing industries.    

From printing and distribution to a variable data printing and mailing service company, electronic bill payment and presentment, and digital collaboration and communication, Kevin O’Brien’s great foresight, planning, and transformation leadership skills are proven. With strategic partner SolvEdge, Kevin O’Brien and his team recently released Digital-CCP, a collaboration and communication platform that allows organizations to work across departments to assemble and deliver communications across multi-mediums including print, web, iPad, and mobile devices.

A Certified Forms Consultant (CFC), Kevin is author of Introduction to Forms Management (1982). He is an active member of BFMA (Business Forms Management Association), Medical Billing and Healthcare Outsourcing, and Xplor International. During his free time, Kevin enjoys his family, golf, and music.

Mike Mulcahy

Mike Mulcahy is Chief Operating Officer for OBRIEN, a provider of electronic business solutions that helps companies gain efficiencies and reduce costs. Mike has extensive experience in implementing complex technology solutions such as digital billing and marketing, streamlined form/document/content management and multichannel delivery with an emphasis on improving the customer experience, compliance and security. He has helped many industry leaders increase their return on investment through improved customer satisfaction, employee productivity, cash flow management, and reduced risk. Mike’s broad skill set and experiences serve as a foundation for seamlessly working with and across operations, information technology, marketing, customer service, and other functions critical to the implementation of complex solutions.

Prior to joining OBRIEN, Mike worked for Wallace Computer Services. During this time, Mike increased sales by 300 percent, helping Fortune 500 companies reduce costs with information management solutions and web to print technologies. Mike has worked with client industries including insurance, healthcare, education, printing, publishing, and manufacturing. 

An active member of IASA (Insurance Accounting & Systems Association), Document Strategy Forum, BFMA (Business Forms Management Association), HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association), and Xplor International, Mike serves as a speaker on topics such as business process management, business-to-business communication, and customer service productivity. He has a bachelor of arts in English from University of Iowa. During his time away from work, Mike enjoys time with his family and leading his band Majors Junction.

Susanne Oesterreich

Susanne Oesterreich is director of information technology for OBRIEN, a provider of electronic business solutions. She provides clients with technical solutions to increase efficiencies, improve information management, lower administrative and IT costs, and enhance collaboration as they move to Internet, mobile and device-driven business processes.

With more than 10 years of experience, Susanne plays an instrumental role during the client implementation process. She leverages best practices to provide strategic planning services, technology consolidation and optimization initiatives, and technology-related change management control.

Prior to her current role, Susanne served as director of business development for OBRIEN. During this time, she led the company’s telemarketing division forms sales to automobile dealers. She also was responsible for all customer service and marketing.

Susanne has a master of business administration with distinction in management information systems from DePaul University. Married to Kyle and mother to Adin, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and exercising.

Steve Albergo

Steve Albergo is director of operations for OBRIEN, a provider of electronic business solutions that helps companies gain efficiencies and reduce costs. With 35 years of experience in the business forms and commercial print industry, Steve leads sales service, customer service and print and mail production. As a key communications link between sales, support, vendors and clients, Steve established and maintains OBRIEN’s quality control guidelines and performance standards.

Prior to joining OBRIEN, Steve worked for Associated Data Forms. Steve has a bachelor of arts from DePaul University. During his time away from work, he enjoys gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, and the theatre.

Scott Bannor

Scott is a senior consultant for OBRIEN. Scott graduated (BS Ed) from Northern Illinois University in 1973 and began his career in digital communications in 1980 after a number of years teaching at a Chicago Public high school. He has held sales, marketing and product management positions with a number of industry leaders including Exxon, Philips NV, Moore Business Forms, Johnson & Quin, PrintSoft, Firstlogic, Bell + Howell, PrintSoft and GMC Software. Scott joined OBRIEN in December 2012.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s Scott was involved in advancing the concept of the Automated Document Factory and sold ADF hardware and software to clients such as the United States Postal Service, large banks and insurance companies and the United States Treasury Department. Scott has sold document composition and post processing software for over 15 years.  He has been a frequent speaker at industry events and has contributed articles to publications such as eDocument News, Outputlinks and the Xploration Journal. He joined OBRIEN in December 2012.

Pete Mier

Director of Business Development has over 30 years in the document services industry supporting Financial Services and Insurance Providers throughout North America. Pete brings a wealth of experience and skills to help OBRIEN clients achieve superior results. Prior to joining OBRIEN Pete was most recently Senior Director of Sales with DST where he successfully led the company's efforts to expand its markets to include the property & casualty and life insurance segment. Earlier in his career, Mier held sales and marketing management and executive positions with a number of other organizations in the document services, solutions and technology industries.  He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business Administration degrees.
